• Cold and Flu: This disease is caused by drastic fluctuation of temperature which makes the body susceptible to bacteria and viral attack, which lead to cold and cough. As this is the most common form of viral disease, its prevention is also quite simple. One should consume highly nutritious foods which will eventually strengthen the immunity. This will help the body to fight against germs by producing antibodies against the released toxins.
• Malaria: Malaria can be also known as the synonymous of monsoon. When the rainwater remains clogged, it allows the mosquitoes to breed. This can be prevented by keeping clogged areas free from rainwater so as to avoid breeding of mosquitoes.
• Dengue: Dengue fever can be very painful and life-threatening This disease is also caused by the dengue viruses from mosquitoes. Thus keeping mosquito away from our body is the best way to prevent this disease. Tip: Use mosquito repellent.
• Cholera: This is also a water-borne infection, caused by Vibrio Cholera which is a strain of bacteria. Cholera affects the gastrointestinal tract causing severe dehydration and diarrhea. We can prevent this disease by drinking boiled, treated and purified water which can keep germs away.
• Typhoid: Typhoid is also a type of fever which is caused by contaminated food and water. Salmonella typhi is the cause of this disease which is also a bacterial infection. Maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation and using clean water is a must.
• Hepatitis A: This infection directly affects the liver and is caused by contaminated foodstuff and water. Fever, Vomiting, Rash, etc., Are some symptoms of Hepatitis. This can be avoided by maintaining proper hygiene.
