After a promising start to the rainy season in Indore, Bhopal, Bhilai, Raipur and other cities of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. Monsoon has been failing to deliver from past 10-12 days. This is a great news especially for our farmers.
Today, on 22nd july, Sunday in the early morning at around 5am Indore saw heavy rainfall for half and hour continuously.
According to the weather forecast department there are high chances of medium or heavy rainfall in the south west part of Madhya Pradesh which are Khargone, Betul, and Dhar, Hoshangabad, Bhopal, Indore, Shahdol, Chhindwara, Seoni, Jagdalpur, Narayanpur, Durg, Raipur, Kanker, Pendra Road, etc.
In the Chattisgarh region cities like Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Jagdalpur, Rajnandgaon, Guna, Gwalior and Damoh will be the lucky ones to see rains but the rest of the C.G. might still have to wait for the monsoon.
The reason for these rains can be due to the Trough that is extending from Northwest Rajasthan up to Bangladesh across North Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh. As this Trough is expected to persist for some more time, light rain may continue in some parts of Madhya Pradesh and most parts of Chhattisgarh.
Below is the Long-range 10 day forecast detail for Indore weather.
