Vivo, one of the top-most smartphone companies have launched 2 new smartphones in their Y-series on 26th August. The company launched the Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i, both with sleek rear camera setup and a powerful 5000mAh battery. The phone will start selling on all offline and online channels from August 28, 2020.
Vivo Y20 belongs to the budget segment of the smartphone with powerful specs. Plus their other phone, Vivo Y20i is launched at an even lower price. Vivo is manufacturing these devices in Greater Noida to give it the ‘Made in India’ tag which has been gaining popularity since the self-reliant India mission proposed by PM Narendra Modi.

The new Y20 smartphone has a whopping 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The price is kept at Rs 12,990 to make it affordable and under the Rs 15,000 price bracket. At the same time, the 3GB + 64GB model of Vivo Y20i is priced at Rs 11,490. At this price point, they both will compete against the recently launched Moto G9 priced at Rs 11,499.
The Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i come with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and two additional 2-megapixel cameras with f/2.4 aperture. They have an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/1.8 aperture. Their camera modes include portrait, photo, video, panorama, slo-mo, among others.

Both phones have a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and a 720X1600 pixel-screen resolution supporting the 18W fast charging charger. They both have Micro-USB port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, FM Radio. Run-on Android 10 based FunTouchOS 10.5 with a Snapdragon 460 chipset. Their designs also include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

You can purchase Vivo Y20 in two colour variants – Obsidian Black and Dawn White and Vivo Y20 in White and Blue. The sale of their new phone, Vivo Y20 will start on August 28 and for Vivo Y20i, the date is September 3.
