Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pooja on 5th August: Preparations are in full swing
Amidst all the controversies surrounding the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, finally, the Bhoomi Poojan date has been fixed! It’s to be held on 5th August and all its preparations are in full swing. After the Bhoomi Poojan, the construction of Ram Lalla Mandir will commence which will take three to four years to complete.
CM Yogi Adityanath has asked the people of Ayodhya to celebrate this occasion like Diwali from 3 to 5 August. However, lamps have already started burning on the banks of Saryu. Everyone is excited waiting for the big day! For the commencement of the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. A raj yatra has been taken out from the Buddheshwar Mahadev temple in Lucknow on Wednesday.
Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya held a review meeting to oversee the preparation for the Bhoomi Poojan. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be attending this ceremony for the inauguration of the construction of Ram Mandir. A security plan has been put into place for him, especially on the routes he will have to take. The scope of security has been increased to 7 zones with VVIP security protocols in place, according to DM AK Jha.
Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna will wear gem-studded outfits on the occasion of ‘Bhoomi poojan’, said Pandit Kalki Ram, president of Ramdal Seva Trust. Their outfits have been encrusted with nine types of gems. Bhagwat Prasad, the tailor who stitched clothes for the Lord, said that “Lord Rama would wear a green dress since the Bhoomi Poojan is to be held on Wednesday and the colour of this day is green”.
On August 5, at 11:30 PM PM Modi will start the Bhoomi Poojan on the premises of Ram Mandir. There’s a 32-second Muhurat for him to do so. To welcome the Prime Minister, buildings on the main road to Ayodhya are being painted yellow. All the buildings from Tehri Bazaar to Naya Ghat are being painted. The city is also installed with 3000 sound boxes where Ram Dhan and other devotional music are being played all day.
